TRENDS

I will be the first to say that summer is almost up and fall is not to far away. I love the colder months because it gives a break from the shorts and sandal looks and gives room to the sweaters and layered pieces, and not to mention darker colors are in. For Mens Fall Fashion Weeks we saw many trends, here are a few of my favorites, and the ones that i will be sporting.

PLAID
Plaid is one of the universal prints for casual rocker, school boy, prep and pretty much any style. I personally love Saint Laurent's(Third image) take on this trend as an upscale street rocker. i definately will be wearing a rocker plaid this fall/winter.

Cable Knitwear
I just bought myself a lightweight cable knit sweater. I bought it in two sizes bigger so that i could have a flowy lightweight, somewhat baggy sweater... i got to say i love it.

Cinched Coats
For Men's fall fashion weeks a long, above the knee coat has been super common. Now, instead of having that main stream boxy coat look, cinch up the waist with a belt, it gives it a nicer, cleaner and detective look...

CYBER

Cyber-animals take Half of the credit in Proenza
Schouler's Fall campaign for 2014. I am completely obsessed with this Brand and this collection. I Love how PS continued their trade mark of being a Tech savvy brand in their campaign. My favorite image has got to be the ombre Sweater with the ostrich feather skirt and the crows wing...

HARD DAYS TO COME

Every once in a while we need a Bold word of encouragement, and in this case they come on a oversized Lanvin necklace( which i love).Sam Rollison takes the lead in this amazing editorial in Interview Magazine where she plays a Hard core (semi-badass) woman who is out in the city with her slicked back hair and her layered oversized outfits... I am in love with this editorial, Karl Templer did an amazing job in the styling while Craig McDean shot some amazing pictures... and lets not for get the hair and make up done by Eugene Souleiman and mark Carrasquillo

CAVALLI

Seems as if Cavalli's pre-spring collection 2014 was color blocked, showing sections of the collection by their color starting with whites, then blacks, blues and reds. Prints, being one of Cavalli's strong points, was completely kaleidoscopic! I love how the strong, bad ass Cavalli woman has discovered a boho side of her.... check it out

love this spaghetti strap, deep plunge trend

MODs

Models are the flawless walking beings that wear the latest designs. I love seeing how models dress on the streets because it usually is laid back and relaxed, which is more understandable for every day life... Models help set trends and as coco chanel would say " a fashion that doesn't hit the streets isn't a fashion".

TROPICAL TREND

Welcome to the tropics... For quite some time i have been loving/wearing a tropical flare incorporated into my outfit.I have always loved Henri Rousseau's art and i think that incorporating that exotic scenery onto a shirt and maybe paired underneath a grey blazer would just be KILLER. Well the TROPICS has been made an official trend now since Prada's latest mens collection was inspired by a vacation in Hawaii (that means that yes there were revised versions of those awful 90s Hawaii shirts). Muiccia Prada always creates such powerful collections and this one just nailed it ...I probably will wait to wear this trend more in the winter because i mean gotta bring some spring/summer vacation into the snowy seasons....

Pretty Rad

I don't really know what happened at the Rad Hourani Haute Couture collection but it was amazing. Canadian designer, Rad focused on the construction and architecture of the clothing while leaving the color a simple black and white. He layered shirts and jackets with abstract seams, zippers and lengths all to create a unisex collection.I feel like i am always drawn toward collections that focus on construction and the fit....

MULBERRY

Mulberry is beyond as well as their campaigns, and what makes my love for Mulberry even greater is the fact that for its fall 2013 campaign they used the IT girl, Cara Delevinge. I love how Mulberry creates a new world in their campaign and brings to life a mystical dream. I love the old trees and owls placed in a living room of a house. I j love Mulberry's functional and simple style for Fall( it goes well with the decorative jungle in the back)
