RAIN MAN

Dutch designer, Martijn Van Striens doesn't get complicated with mohair, cashmere or alligator but he creates this rain gear out of a cheap and inexpensive tarp-like material just playing with the cut and structure of the material. I would definitely wear one over my day clothes this winter …

HOLIDAY?

Editing collections and seeing which of my top favorite looks make it on my blog SUCKS completely, Especially when it is a killer collection like 3.1 Phillip Lim's Holiday collection. It was kinda like eating Flaming Hot Cheetos, you take one and Beyonce knows that you can't and won't just pick one. When i was looking through this collection i didn't catch my self saying "THIS one is it"to every single look.     -_-. I love how Lim created a new take on holiday attire by incorporating the Chic street wear; a sweat pant and shirt but making it not one bit sloppy. And who in their DAMN RIGHT MIND would think of making a green fur varsity jacket… i love it.

WINTER FASHION LAND

So it is official... Snow flakes have fallen. I dont think that my wardrobe is "fit" for this weather (maybe an excuse to shop more?). Coming from a tropical 60 degree weather to a Icelantic state i have to come up with new ways to wear clothes.LAYERS! i am pretty excited to get a new wardrobe... i am leaning toward going mostly black and shades of grey and stacking many layers on one another. I can't wait to share ways how i am dressing for this winter.

FASHION WEEK

Hermes- has gone wild... I love Hermes' new take on a Tropical forest print and exotic animal skins. I love it, new take on the old safari trend just gone exotic and colorful.

    Saint Laurent- Heidi Slimane continues with that punk glam, now with office attire with thick eye liner.  I love the evolution of the Saint Laurent house since Heidi raided it.

Zadig & Voltaire continue with their shades of grey, blacks and whites to make an amazing punkish hippie collection. Love every look and those shoes with the transparent tops are flawless.
