THE GREAT MIUCCIA

I know that there is all this talk about the GREAT GATSBY movie that came out today and all i can say i s that the costumes are gonna be MAJOR.Costume designer Catherine Martin seems to have done a excellent job teaming up with Prada and Brooks Brothers. Interviews with MIUccia Prada days that the costumes were all inspired by past collections(which you can tell) but modified to fit the theme. She also released four sketches and it makes me even more pumped to see the movie.

GREEKS GO GABBANAS!! No, not the common Greek Tragedies that you have heard, same story MORE LUXURIOUS CLOTHING.I love these illustrations and think that they are just SICK!!

BOLD

BOLD PATTERNS were shown in Mens fashion week 2013 for this spring. Having a couple BOLD PRINTS incorporated into your personal style can be pretty awesome. Bold prints can be a FRESH OF BREATH air from what one is usually inclined too.I will definitely get some bold print Ts to incorporate into my aspiring monochromatic (Black, Grey, and Whites are my new things) wardrobe.

SHADOWS

The other day i came across Janessa Leone's look book titled SHADOWS and i loved it. It had perfect pieces that can easily be layered and worn for spring/summer. This company sells very simple and classic hats but with a small twist. It is perfect because i see Hats as one of those pieces that tie an outfit together and give it a new touch that can be very effortless, so why not give that item a small uniqueness.

ROCK SOLID

Inspired by the classics but made modern, Punk Rock trend has been all over for the past months. Chanel had a deep smokey rocker eye at their Haute Couture while Saint Laurent push this trend strong in both mens and women's collections for fall. I love this dark, effortless and comfort focused trend, perfect for music festivals ( kind of over the hippie festival look) or any casual outing. Punk Rock trend involves layering for comfort and baiscally effortless (what style should be)
