happy NEW YORK Fashion Week 2013!!!! GEEZE this fashion week has been filled with surprises, not only by the amazing shows but also the snow storm. Well that didn't stop fashion week!!!! Collections in New York have been OFF THE WALL ... I Love the new trends that we are seeing so far (TRENDS on NYFW will come in another post). Here are some pictures of some of my favorite shows so far and i have a feeling that we will be seeing a whole lot more GREAT fashion shows...
Reed Krakoff - simple blouse simple skirt and simple trousers BUT don't be fooled because these pieces have some sort of statement to them whether it is the silhouette the pattern or just the cut.
3.1 Phillip Lim - very wearable and approachable street wear is a concept that made this show one of my TOP favs.
Rachel Zoe - simplistic safari outing? MAYBE, but this collection seemed to be a fresh breath of air for the Rachel Zoe Brand
Marc by Marc Jacobs- FRESH and YOUTHFUL Winter is the feeling that i get. Maybe could have even had hits of spring but all i know is that this show had some crazy prints and crazy forms that are so wearable and i BET that we will be seeing these clothes in Magazines and on the streets.
Rabal Gurung - Yes, MILITARISTIC woman with a pair of strong KILLER heels and awesome layered clothing is what created a empowering woman and that is why Prabal Gurung's collection is one of my favorites
